Kate Glinert is Senior Counsel at Serling Rooks Hunter McKoy Worob & Averill LLP. She advises on all matters related to the music and entertainment industries, as well as related copyright, trademark, employment and corporate issues. Her expertise includes negotiating recording, music publishing, merchandising, touring, management and new media agreements. She also has experience regarding advertising and marketing matters, celebrity sponsorships, endorsements, brand-integration and strategic partnerships.
Prior to SRH, Ms. Glinert worked in the Legal and Business Affairs Departments at Universal/Motown Records Group, Sanctuary Records Group and most recently at Razor & Tie, as Senior Director of Business & Legal Affairs. This in-house experience has provided Ms. Glinert with in-depth experience and considerable knowledge regarding business and legal issues that entertainment companies and artists need to address on a day-to-day basis. Before becoming a lawyer, Ms. Glinert spent a year volunteering for those in need in the United States through the AmeriCorps VISTA program.
