Jeffrey is a music industry veteran who counsels clients in matters relating to all facets of the industry. His client list includes Grammy nominated recording artists, up-and-coming musicians and bands, Fortune 500 companies, independent record labels, industry executives, publishers, managers, songwriters, DJ’s, producers, vinyl record companies, and music PR and branding companies.
A true music lover, Jeffrey plays an active and important role in the growth of his client’s careers by skillfully advising on business and legal matters, making introductions to his strong network of industry contacts and by personally handling the negotiation and drafting of all client contracts and correspondence. This hands-on approach is central to how Jeffrey conducts his practice and sets him apart from contemporaries in the industry.
Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Jeffrey worked for five years as in-house attorney for Universal Motown Republic Group in New York City, honing his skills on negotiation and transactional matters and advising on high-profile projects such as Amy Winehouse, Cash Money Records, and Jack Johnson’s Brushfire Records.
